The NGO AllRise Impact develops impact-driven cases solely aimed at tackling systemic hurdles. By building precedents, we seek to compel lawmakers to adapt laws and regulations.
LIVE IMPACT CASES
THE PLANET VS BOLSONARO
In October 2021, AllRise Impact filed a landmark case against Bolsonaro for crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court.
While we are waiting a response from the ICC, they have recently brought environmental crime onto their agenda to look at an environmental policy at the ICC.
When the draft of this policy is released AllRise will share comments and input.

THE PLANET VS AUSTRIA
In May 2023, AllRise Impact filed a state liability action against the Republic of Austria and two federations at the Austrian Constitutional Court, aiming to reduce the volume of soil sealing by adapting the laws accordingly.
The Austrian Constitutional Court has rejected the case. Therefore we have now filed it with the European Court of Human Rights and the European Commission.

LIVE IMPACT PROJECT
aktie.earth
In October 2024, AllRise Impact launched aktie.earth in partnership with the Deutsche Umwelthilfe, Whistleblower Netzwerk and Bees & Trees Foundation.
aktie.earth empowers communities to report environmental harm, helping to hold companies, authorities, and individuals accountable for damaging the environment. Our platform collects and verifies evidence of environmental violations, which - in consultation with the whistleblower - we then use to build legal cases or drive public campaigns, pushing for real change.
Our pilot project focusses on the soy industry in Germany as we aim to investigate whether companies are violating the German Supply Chain Act by importing and/or selling soy in Germany that is linked to illegal deforestation.
